Band photo: Astrid & Ingunn
Musicians Astrid & Ingunn from Biri (Norway) needed new photos for promotional use, and I was glad to help. These pictures were shot at Eiktunet in Gjøvik a summer afternoon filled with all kinds of weather.
The equpment used was my Canon 60D camera, Sigma 17-70 and 70-300 lenses plus the Nissin flash with an extender cable. They wanted a dreamy look and pictures they could use for different occations. And of course something that reflected their beautiful, simple songs. Have a look in the gallery below and be sure to check out their music at Facebook and at the blog.
These as well as a few older pictures are now up on my Flickr profile. Connect!
Radio host portraits
Every once in a while I get to do some photography at work. Here are three of my shots done for web and print. One of them we even put on our car. Captured with my Canon EOS 400D and the 18-55 kit lens + my new Canon EF50mm f/1,8 II lens.
Portrait experiments
Here are three experimental portraits.
The flash used is a Nissin DI466. A cheap deal. It works quite nice, but eats batteries. My dad bought one, and when I found out it syncs wirelessly to other DI466′s, I had to get one as well. The syncronization isn’t too stable, though.
The first and the last photos are done with long exposure and me running around with the flash. In the one with the two girls I even chose to show some of the blinks as an effect. The middle picture is the only one with two Nissin flashes used.
All three pictures are taken with my Canon EOS 400D and the 18-55 kit lens.
